One of the greatest joys I have in my life is the opportunity to watch children grow up. For the past 11 years, I have been pouring into kids… who are now all grown up. I was sitting around with two of them, Rhoda and Claire, and we were discussing how much we love these two other kids we know, William and Ellen. Someone told me once that the way Ellen and William love me is almost creepy. But the thing is.. I love those two probably more than they love me.
Then I thought… let’s FaceTime them. So we did. We attempted a nice little FaceTime convo with two of our favorite little gingers.
Later that evening Lauren joined us, and then after dinner we went to Marianne’s for some wonderful ice cream. Claire told me the wallpaper was scratch and sniff.. and I believed her. We laughed and made silly faces and I was reminded how fortunate I am to be a part of their lives.
