january 10 – i was just thinking…

i am alive. so every day i make a to-do list. and i try to get as much of it done in the morning. this morning i overslept, and wasn’t able to accomplish ANYTHING. the longer i procrastinate finishing it, the harder it is. at this point i’ve decided to be okay with 5/8. that’s how it is with blogging, too. when i get behind, it’s hard to get the motivation to catch up.

but mind over matter, and here i am.

{4/365 – sisters}

i spend lots of time with these fantastic sisters. and they have matching robes that i think are so adorable and i’m only a little sad i don’t have a matching one with them.

{5/365 – january 2012}

lately for some reason, i’ve been really forgetful and absentminded. so i finally filled in all of the dates in my planner in the hopes that it will help me be less scatterbrained.

{6/365 – rainy day}

erlinda was in town, so i picked her up and we went to the zoo. it was rainy and grey and deserted. many animals {hippo, giraffes, tigers, warthogs and zebras to name a few} were inside and not able to be seen. but we saw the monkeys! this guy seemed to be suffering from rainy day boredom.

{7/365 – astro}

this is the baby cat we got from the driveway at camp arnold. she is wild and crazy and likes to hide in the plants, watching your every move.

{8/365 – yogurtland}

drove erlinda to seattle. got coffee with emily, which is always needed and helpful and refreshing. then mei-ling and i got thai food. and then… mei-ling… got me…. YOGURTLAND!!!!!!! I LOVE YOGURTLAND!!!!!!!!!! ALL THOSE EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!!!!

{9/365 – live}

let me tell you something about my room. it’s kinda small. not cupboard-under-the-stairs small, but laid out kind of awkward.. oh and. the worst part. i don’t have much shelf space. a full-to-the-brim bookcase and an equally cluttered night stand. so when i decided to get this shelf at the salvation army, i was super excited. i painted it pink. and used my new pink tools to hang it up. and proudly put a random display of stuff on it.

{10/365 – pink}

i promise i am not going to only take pictures of things sitting on this shelf. but i love target and i love clearance items and so you’d better believe i love clearance items at target. and target’s christmas stuff was 90% off this weekend. and these pink shiny things were 90% off. so i got them. and tonight i had to throw away my dead carnations {i think there is a direct correlation between their short life and the fact that i didn’t have to pour out any water when i threw them away…} so i decided to make use of the vase.

also. mei-ling got those mickey mouse ears for me from disneyland. my name is on the back 🙂
