It’s been a rough few weeks, yeah? We’re used to going places ALL THE TIME. We love going to Goodwill or TJ Maxx or Justen’s parents or my mom’s or whatever. This whole stay at home thing is hard. So now instead of looking forward to Justen being home from work so we can go somewhere, I look forward to GETTING THE MAIL. It’s honestly my only tangible connection with the world outside of our little apartment.
Last week I got a super cute Trio Set in the mail from My Little Mascara Club and it made my day. The packaging is so cute that I couldn’t help but get excited to open everything that came with it!
As one would assume from a company called My Little Mascara Club, it came with a tube of mascara. I love that these products are cruelty free and vegan, in addition to the fact that they arrive on your doorstep! The recommended time for using one tube of mascara is 3 months but I know I’m not the only one guilty of using the same mascara for at least twice as long as that!
With My Little Mascara Club, you can set up a subscription that delivers you a new tube of mascara and reminds you to toss out your old one! They only offer small tubes so they stay fresh. You can choose the frequency of when you receive new mascara, which is pretty brilliant.
The trio set also came with Mascara Remover (micellar water with cucumber – it smells SO FRESH) and Reusable mascara wipes. I LOVE this micellar water, it works so well and is gentle on your eyes! I’ve received various makeup erasers in the past and one thing that always drives me nuts is how pretty they are. That sounds silly, but when I get a beautiful pink floral makeup eraser I hate when I get mascara or foundation all over it. These super soft wipes are black, which means they look good as new even after you use them.
