Last year, 2013, something magical happened.
I went to Nashville for the first time.
and I FELL. IN. LOVE. With the place, with the people…
and mostly with the two most precious little twins I’ve ever met.
I spent all of 2014 in one of about four emotional spaces.
#1. perfectly content in Nashville.
#2. missing the crap out of Nashville.
#3. dreaming of a trip to Nashville.
#4. counting down the days to Nashville.
Right now I’m in the #4 space.
and it’s one family.
I have other friends there, too. This isn’t meant to cheapen those friendships.
But nothing melts my heart than hearing Layla say “Snephanie!” or having Lucy come up and say “Hold me!”
Looking back on my life I tend to summarize seasons and years with one event, one person, one feeling… but when I look back on 2014, I’ll think of two little girls.
Here’s to another year. I just can’t wait!
